Green dress inspired by DELPOZO

Here is my new dress inspired by couture fashion. I liked both the color and decor in the original dress from the podium.

Unfortunately I wasn't able to find a proper stiff fabric that is light and drapes folds like paper which is why my dress has a softer shape. To make a copy was not my purpose anyway. I just liked the idea. My dress is made of cotton twill, doubled on the top of the dress. The bows are made of bias cut strips and doubled with a firm satin ribbon.

 

The original dress is from Delpozo Spring/Summer 2015 collection. The hallmarks of the Delpozo atelier include a creative approach to volume, color, and silhouette.
